Our Chief Instructor has had an exemplary career within the British Armed Forces and the Private Security Industry.
Tony has extensive experience of working in the private security industry both as an operator and as a CPO Surveillance Instructor. He has worked in all the worlds’ conflict spots in diverse locations ranging from the Middle East to South East Asia and the United States.
Since qualifying as a CPO and CP instructor in 1997 Tony has worked closely with commercial industry, governmental and nongovernmental agencies and he is credited with assisting over 10,000 students as they took their first steps into the private security industry.
As well as working and instructing as a Team Leader Tony has conducted asset security reviews for commercial companies and government agencies.
Tony delivers HEAT, HECPO and firearms courses at our international Training venue abroad.
Tony has a full range of qualifications including the prestigious Diploma in Security & Risk Management (Dip SM) and a LEAD programme award from Lancaster University. Additionally, Tony holds instructional and conflict management qualifications and is a qualified Physical Intervention (PI) instructor.
Above all else Tony’s main qualities are his passion and enthusiasm for the job and having the opportunity and ability to pass on his knowledge of the Close Protection industry with enthusiasm and integrity.
Leigh is a former British Army Warrant Officer who served in the Parachute Regiment. Since leaving the Army he has consulted many international Security Companies in the Middle East Africa, USA and Europe.
Leigh has expert knowledge in Project Management, Team Leader (TL), Security Management, and Consultancy.
Additionally, he has extensive experience in teaching Close Protection Training, HECPO, Conflict Management and Physical Intervention.
David is a recently retired Police Driving Instructor with over 25 years policing experience in Traffic Department/Roads Policing environment, working with Convoy Protection Teams delivering protection to clients from Senior Royals to Heads of State and the Ministry of Defence.
David is Chief Driving Instructor at Longmoor Training and oversees the development and delivery of all driver training at the Longmoor Training School, including their our renowned Hostile Environment Close Protection (HEPO) Course which includes B6 Armoured Car Training, Active/Passive Safety Systems, Anti- Ambush Drills, Skid Control Techniques and Defensive driving Skills.
